The Challenge
We were once again delighted to partner with one of our trusted high-end interior designers on a recent project. The designer selected the products for this luxurious space, but as with every project, we took the time to review the site in detail. During this process, we identified several potential challenges, including issues with sub-floor preparation, the selected laying style, and the complexities of both carpet and Karndean flooring installation. With our longstanding partnership, we were able to anticipate and address these challenges before they could impact the overall installation, ensuring the best possible outcome for the end user.

Drawing on our ongoing relationship with the designer, we worked collaboratively to ensure the project proceeded smoothly. We identified areas where adjustments to the sub-floor and laying style could improve the final result and offered tailored solutions. As always, our “can-do” attitude helped overcome any obstacles that arose. For this project, we brought in our specialist fitters for each part of the installation, ensuring that the carpets and Karndean flooring were laid to the highest possible standard. A detailed schedule of works was agreed upon so that the entire team knew when we were on-site and which tasks would be tackled. Working closely with other trades, we ensured that the installation did not disrupt the project’s timeline.
